Outbound Telesales Operative
Portsmouth
£5.60-£6.50 Per Hour
My client is currently looking to recruit an Outbound Telesales Operative based in Portsmouth. You will be making outbound sales calls to existing customers offering to renew an existing Insurance policy with the opportunity to upgrade their level of cover. You will be collecting personal information, often including bank details. You will need to combine your product knowledge, script and rapport building skills to demonstrate a need for the product to the customer, recognise the opportunity to make a sale and persuade the customer to complete the purchase in the space of a single phone call.
The company where established in 1999 to meet the needs of UK Trade Unions, their members and families, the company are a public company providing specialist insurance services. They are dedicated to providing UK workers with quality family protection cover at affordable cost and they are the largest provider of Income Protection cover to UK trade union members.They sell two policy's: Guaranteed Acceptance Critical Illness and Guaranteed Acceptance Life.
Whilst you are training my client is paying £5.60 per hour. When you are working in the call centre the starting rate is £6.00 for the first 12 weeks, after 12 weeks the rate will rise to £6.50 per hour plus a bonus structure based on achievement. You will be working 8 hours a day. Monday - Thursday 12.00PM-21.00PM with an hour lunch break, Friday 11.00AM-20.00PM and every other Saturday 10.00AM-16.00PM.
