To provide an efficient and professional employee vetting service ensuring that The Company remains within all legislation and within client contractual requirements
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities (Duties)
1.Ensure that all employees have proof of legal right to work & proof of residency in the UK
2.Provide an accurate list of all clients and their vetting requirements and keep this updated regularly
3.To ensure that all candidates complete the criminal record check documentation correctly and that these are sent off to Disclosure Scotland within 4 days of employment
4.To ensure that all candidates provide sufficient information to complete the financial probity check within 7 days of employment
5.To keep an up to date report of all candidates and the status of their vetting which can be viewed at a glance and shows real time accuracy
6.Contacting employees and Managers directly (either face to face or by e-mail or phone) to chase and request information in order to complete vetting process
7.To escalate immediately to the site HR Manager of any situation that may mean that TLC is either in breach of client contract or legislation
8.To escalate at the earliest opportunity to the HR Manager of any procedures that are not working effectively or provide solutions in which our service could be improved
9.To assist with the chasing of references for new employees
10.To ensure that the vetting procedures are completed on internal transfers; this will include transfers from one campaign to another; from one position to another (e.g from SP to QA) and from one department to another
11.To ensure that all personnel files are up to date and documents are filed correctly and date stamped
