An opportunity has arisen for an experienced sales person to join this rapidly expanding organisation. Working with schools, this company provide after school music clubs for children aged 11 – 16.
The focus of this position is the development of the business, county by county; plus helping to maintain current projects as they are launched. For the right person, there is an opportunity, after training, to become the Area Manager for the South with other County Managers reporting into them. There is in place a clearly defined and researched process of approach and marketing to be followed. Our client is a goal orientated/results driven business, so therefore the candidate must be happy to be working within such a pressurised environment. To begin with, this ADM will be accountable to the Managing Director.
The development of any area will involve viability figures, an understanding of the social demographic, plus preparing a SWOT analysis of each area. Liaison with local and national press would be necessary.
The maintenance of the current projects will mean acting as first point of contact for the tutors/parents with concerns, and undertaking all that is necessary to ensure that the high quality of the company ethos is being maintained.
To achieve all of the above, our client would be looking for a Manager with the leadership skills, driven, ambitious with marketing/business development experience, knowledge of how the different types of schools work would also be ideal. Self-motivated and happy to work from home at times is also essential. As they will be working within schools, they must be good with children and have excellent people skills with a warm and friendly personality. An enhanced CRB check would be obligatory.
