An opportunity now exists for an individual to join our IT department as a Database Administrator.
Matchtech Group Plc have been established for 20 years and are the 2nd largest Technical Recruitment Company in the UK and a Top 20 National Recruitment Agency.
We are currently seeking a Database Administrator to join our IT department. The successful candidate will take on the providing Database Administrator responsibilities for our in house Microsoft SQL 2005 Servers. The duties will include database design, database maintenance, performance monitoring and ensuring a high level of system availability.
You must have good inter-personal skills and be presentable. Preferably HNC qualified or better, with at least 2 years experience of SQL Server.
The skills required for this role are as follows -
Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
Exposure to Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing is desirable
Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 server would be an advantage
.NET would be an advantage.
We offer -
23 days holiday per year, annual salary review, standard notice period - starting at 1 month and increasing with service. Salary of £35,000 to £ 45,000 depending on skills, knowledge and track record.
