| We are currently looking for insurance experienced full time staff to join a new team supporting Household customers on behalf of a well known insurance company. This is an important new contract for us and will give staff the opportunity to work on a new product and to grow with the account. Ideally you’ll be Household trained, you will need to have excellent communication skills as one of the products will be aimed older, more affluent customers, with a greater knowledge and understanding of their insurance needs, who will want to discuss these with you. You will also be cross-trained in Motor insurance in order to provide cover to another ring-fenced team JOB PURPOSE To ensure that targets and service standards are consistently achieved and maintained through efficient handling of telephone and email enquiries and the maximisation of renewal retention, customer service excellence and cross-selling opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide excellent customer service when taking enquiries via the telephone, by establishing and meeting customer’s needs, rapport building, responding and processing their requests 2. Adhere to call guide and scripted procedures, ensuring that information given to customers is clear, fair and not misleading 3. Achieve daily/monthly call and sales targets and enhance teamwork by maintaining a consistent, energetic and professional approach 4. Prepare renewals in a timely manner; ensuring any reviews are correctly actioned 5. Ensure renewal retention is maintained by use of sales and negotiation skills (telephone contact) 6. Process payments and issue documentation efficiently and accurately 7. Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy when inputting customer information onto the computer system 8. Maintain a competent level of technical, product and system knowledge 9. Comply with current industry regulatory requirements 10. Adhere to Company policies and procedures, including Attendance Management, Time Keeping and Dress Code 11. Undertake ad hoc duties as required by management Opening hours are 8.00 am – 8.00 pm Monday to Friday and 9.00 am – 2.00 pm on Saturday You will work alternate Saturdays and have a day off in the week when you work a Saturday |
