Full Description:
Production Manager urgently required for a busy organisation. It is essential you have 5 years in a production Management role in an electronics oriented SME. Experience of working with ERP/MRP and specifically SAP. Key functions and main responsibilities will be
Manage the production of in-house assemblies using SAP/ERP system
Responsible for executing Production works Orders and providing Customer Support with confirmation of deliveries
Forecast, manage and plan production capacity based on available resources
Ensure allocation of resources is adequate for the execution of the Production Plan
Oversee with the Materials Manager, the procurement, scheduling and supply of materials
Coordinate with the Product Engineering where production resources are required
Manage production equipment

It is essential that the ideal candidate can demonstrate the following qualities

Management of department personnel
Conduct performance reviews
The ability to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others
High level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite with particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills
Overseas travel from time to time to attend meetings.

This position is based in Havant but it is essential you have your own transport

The Salary is between £30,000 and £35,000

Hours of work are 8.30 – 5.00
