    Main purpose of Role:

    The key responsibilities of a Sales and Service Consultant is to take telephone inquiries from both new and existing customers regarding their home and motor insurance policies and building the level of credibility with them that guarantees results

    You will need to be able to utilise new sale, cross sale and up sale opportunities whilst providing a professional multi-skilled service

    Responsibilities:

    Build Customer relationships by understanding and meeting their needs to maximise customer retention

    Maximise Sales conversion, new sell, cross sell and up sell opportunities

    Achieve Sales and Service targets to maintain productivity and quality standard

    Demonstrate knowledge of current products, procedures and systems to provide first class Sales and Service

    Increase productivity and profitability by: proactive use of the telephone, identifying ways of reducing paperwork, use of continuous improvement initiatives

    Take responsibility and seek opportunities for own personal development

    Key Technical Skills & Characteristics

    Skills – Technical:

    • Previous experience using a keyboard is essential
    • Excellent listening skills with the ability to react too specific requests professionally
    • Professional telephone manner
    • Excellent proven communication skills
    • Experience in a Customer or Sales environment

    Skills – Behavioral:

    • Active team player
    • Highly self-motivated
    • Demonstrate a flexible approach to changing business needs
    • Personal approach with a view to building strong rapport with customers
    • Ability to adapt to change

    Additional information

    Our Contact Centre is open between the hours of 8am-9pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday. You will be required to work 35 hours per week Monday to Friday on a shift basis between 8am and 9pm and work one in three Saturdays
