My client based in Christchurch is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team as soon as possible.

1) First Off, In-Process & Last off Inspections.
Experience with Calibrated measuring equipment; CMM, Micrometers, Vernier and Vision equipment.
2) Goods Inwards Inspections.
3) Process Capability and SPC.
4) Tool Trial / Sample inspection when required. (Dimensional and visual).
5) Quality audits. (Department Audit Trials). Good interdepartmental Skills.
6) Maintain required house keeping in the quality area.
7) Working with procedures and supporting the QMS with New diagram procedures & Work Instructions
8) Production procedure control. Labelling, packaging, etc.
9) Safekeeping and maintenance of all equipment.
10) Calibration of all quality instruments.
11) Handling Non-Conformities;
Externally - Customer Complaints & External Rejects, Customer / Supplier.
Internally – Disposition of Quarantine / Hold Items, Internally monitoring for component Continuous Improvement.
12) Operator training, identifying key critical component areas.

You must be IT literate and have previous experience in the process of IQ, OQ and PQ.

Salary :
£20K - £22K DOE
Hours :
Mon - Thurs 8:30 - 5:15pm
Friday 8:30 - 3:00pm
