Job Description
Catch Resource Management are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our small finance and administration operation in the centre of Salisbury.
Overview:
The role is initially for a 6 month period. For the right person this could develop into a permanent role; however the company plans to move the operation to Bournemouth in late 2010.
Working Hours - approximately 6 hours per day Tuesday - Thursday; however we would expect you to be flexible and able to cover holidays and busier periods in the office (ie month end)
Key Skills:
A clear understanding of the essential administration processes
A proven ability to identify and deliver good quality, cost effective, business support
Experience of basic accountancy (Accounts Payable/Receivable/GL) is essential
Must be familiar with the Windows/MS Office environment; particularly Word and Excel
Must be fluent in English, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Advantageous Skills:
Experience with Sage Line 50 Accounting systems is desirable
Personal Attributes:
A responsible individual, conscientious and with good judgement
Must perform your work to a very high standard, taking pride in all you do
Be self motivated and able to understand the overall objective in order to best provide meaningful input
Be able to work both as part of the team or unsupervised
Be able to manage expectations and issues to best effect under pressured conditions (ie month end)
