Fantastic Opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join a small innovative company based in Hampshire.
As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for concept design and prototype building. You will be working on high precision design elements including optics and micro fluidics, as well as the assembly and test of prototypes. You will also be responsible for the PCB milling machine and its programming.
This is a varied role which has two main elements, firstly the use of a design and development of small precise plastic components and the use of a milling machine. Secondly the design of metal enclosures using 2D and 3D CAD, and the outsourcing manufacturer selection.
Candidates for the position of Mechanical Engineer should have an HND/HNC or similar in an engineering discipline of similar with proven experience of 3D and 2D CAD (Ideally Solidworks experience). Experience of micro fluidics is highly desirable, as is previous experience of PCB milling.
