Job Description
Our global business services firm is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Controller, this is a great opportunity for you to make the next step and advance your career
Our client, based in Reading, requires an Assistant FC with the main purpose being to assist the CFO with projects to improve business performance and profitability.
The duties of the role will be the control of project costs, the development of KPIs and management information, to maintain control of headcount and labour costs, co-ordination of forecasts, budgets and variance analysis, to assist the planning department with forecasts and budgets, to develop modelling during acquisitions and ad hoc projects which will require the development of models, investigate profitability and recommend process and cost improvements
Due to the high profile nature of the role which requires extensive liaison between various group divisions, for example Human Resources, the ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and experience of dealing at all levels of business. Ideally you will be qualified (or similar) with experience of working for a US owned business and up for working in a demanding position.
