Web Developer - Application Support Godalming, Surrey Salary: circa £25000 – £30000 + Bonus

Our client, a leader in website design for the automotive industry are currently looking for an experienced, intelligent, switched on Web Developer in an Application Support role to join their ever expanding company based in Godalming, Surrey. You will be joining a well established (10 years), secure company which has two core areas of business; development of quality, bespoke, interactive web sites for the retail automotive trade and selling advertising on their high traffic web site.

The Web Developer - Application Support Role:

The Web Developer Application Support role will be incredibly varied, involving the support, maintenance and development of our full range of products and systems in a variety of programming languages ranging from Classic ASP and VB 6.0 code through to C# .NET and T-SQL code along with standards compliant HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

This is a great opportunity for a Web Developer with Application Support experience to join a growing company at an extremely exciting time, learning and developing along side our existing, very experienced developers, whilst having the chance to really have some impact and involvement directly in the development of the products and services that benefit our customers.

The Web Developer - Application Support Skills and Experience:

Required

• Classic ASP, VBScript

• SQL Server 2000/2005

• HTML/XHTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Honest, reliable, dedicated and hard working

Desirable

• C# ASP.NET/.NET (Application and Web based would be advantageous)

• VB 6.0

• Source Control (e.g. Source Safe, Source Vault, etc.)

• Web Services

• SEO and PPC experience

• JQuery

• Any experience/interest in the automotive trade

The Web Developer - Application Support Salary:

• Competitive salary circa £25000 – £30000

• Company Bonus Scheme

• Flexible Working hours around core hours of 10am – 4pm

• Free on site parking
