- Conducting potential client research to aid the production of the bid submission
- Attending client meetings where required
- Researching clients to ensure bids are specific to their requirements

To be considered for this position you must have bid writing or copywriting experience gained within a private company. In addition to your exceptional level of English, you will also need to demonstrate strong proofreading skills and an excessive attention to detail.

As the Bid Writer/Copywriter you should also be someone who can structure their sales argument, get their message across loud and clear, and make bids compelling, readable and coherent. You must also be comfortable turning technical information into plain English, whilst answering questions in a succinct and informative way.

Additionally, you must be degree educated (or equivalent) and able to work to deadlines and under pressure. Good project management skills and an innovative approach are also required.
