This role will be based in the busy Quotations Department reporting directly to the Quotations Manager
Key responsibilities will be: -
Preparation of new and existing Customer Quotation requests in accordance with agreed time lines.
Supplier selection, evaluation
Identification of new potential sources of supply and assessment of these suppliers as appropriate.
Dealing with suppliers to ensure quotes received within a set timescale
Using excel extensively to input and manipulate data
Skills required: -
A strong administration background and a willingness to learn new skills and systems
Previous electronics background may also be an advantage
Must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team to reach tight deadlines
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to use own initiative
Attention to detail
Time management
To provide an excellent standard of customer service to both our internal and external customers
In House' systems used so good keyboard skills required.
Flexible
Problem solving
Ability to use own initiative
IT Skills
Good standard of Word and Outlook
Excel (intermediate an advantage)
