Job Description

Advertising Sales Executive Fareham , Hampshire £22,000 (OTE £40,000) plus Private Healthcare Our client publishes the Internet's leading online marine publication and produces the world's most popular marine websites. They enable boat owners, buyers, brokers, dealers and manufacturers to market and buy a range of water vessels from personal watercraft to superyachts. They now have a great opportunity for an Advertising Sales Executive to join their team. For this role, our client seeks an Advertising Sales Executive with proven experience selling online display advertising space. Tasked with maximising revenue generated from sales of online, and to a lesser degree offline, display advertising across a range of websites and print titles, the Advertising Sales Executive will assume responsibility for the following key responsibilities: * Increasing sales of display advertising in line with individual sales plan * Actively prospect for display advertising business via outbound calling and other methods of communication * Tenaciously pursuing advertising prospects and opportunities * Referring sales opportunities other than display advertising to colleagues as appropriate * Collaborating with the banner advertising team in the USA and sales representatives in other territories to maximise global sales opportunities To be considered for this role, the Advertising Sales Executive will need to demonstrate a good record in advertising sales, including having sold online display advertising to media agencies and advertisers. It is also expected that the Advertising Sales Executive will have familiarity with MS Office software, databases and CRM systems along with a basic technical understanding of banner advert design and display formats. Any additional European language skills would prove an advantage to your application, though these are not essential.
