Avionics Systems Technical Project Manager (TPM) Berkshire £40k to £55k
AVIONICS BACKGROUND REQUIRED
Qualification/Experience or Skill
Engineering degree in electronics/aeronautics/aerospace systems
Knowledge in modern avionics system architectures, databus standards and certification standards
Experience in leading a multidiscipline team in electronics/aeronautics/avionics domain
Good interpersonal skills and willingness to travel worldwide

The Avionics Systems Technical Project Managers (TPM) primary responsibility is to lead the development teams efforts in order to deliver the required avionics system against its specification within the cost, schedule and level of quality required. The engineering teams and development work will be composed of system, hardware and software engineers.
Scope of work for the TPM ranges from technical proposals/bids to final qualification/validation.
The Avionics System TPM will contribute to the business development efforts of the client offerings within this domain.
Key Accountabilities
1/Develop and execute project plan .Create and execute multidiscipline development plan.
2/Provide technical direction and guidance to team Organize the team (resources, task allocation, priority management, technical decision) to ensure achievement of the goals.
3/Monitor project funding and financial performance. Development shall be done within allocated/agreed budget.

Leadership skills Able to lead a team in successfully execute a product/system development project
Adaptability Able to understand system, hardware, software, manufacturing related issue.
Shall be comfortable in various situation: team management, with peers, reporting to management, interfacing customer/user.
