Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner (IFA) - Certificate in Financial Planning
Blackwater, Camberley (Surrey)
£28k-£32k Plus attractive benefits package including company pension scheme, death benefits and performance related incentives

Our client is a financial services firm that offers a holistic financial planning service to high net worth individuals over the long term. They offer advice and arrange transactions in investments, pensions, non investment protection policies and integrated tax planning. An opportunity has now arisen for a Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner to join their team.

For this role our client is looking to recruit someone with a financial services background and a Certificate in Financial Planning, who is keen to develop their career.

As a Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner you will be responsible for providing a range of financial support services, namely supporting investment advisers, researching products and providers, report writing, and client record management. Company training will be provided.

Specifically, your duties will include:
- Offering a full support service to one or more investment advisers providing technical advice, building relationships
- Undertaking research of products and providers in line with client requirements
- Using technical research tools to search the market for suitable products
- Preparing and providing a selection of solutions to the adviser
- Preparing suitability reports justifying recommended products, preparing financial plans
- Managing client appointments for the adviser, writing draft agendas and preparing meeting notes

To be considered for this position you must have:
- Proven experience in a similar financial services role
- The Certificate in Financial Planning or equivalent
- An understanding of TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) and general FSA regulations
- An understanding of anti money-laundering regulations

The ideal Financial Services Administrator/Paraplanner will have experience working for an IFA and have an understanding of unregulated financial products.
